A healthy ecosystem allows everything to flourish.

Just as in nature, where each element plays an essential role, our business model is designed to connect people, resources, and technology in an environment where change is possible. Here, we explain how each component of our ecosystem complements the others to create impact and sustainability.

Aggregators and seed suppliers are key to agriculture in emerging countries. To stay relevant, aggregators need to integrate into new chains that include technology as an ally in their process.

SOS Labs facilitates this process by providing:

- Improved seeds with credit financing.
- Technology such as seed coating and drying tools, as well as dApps devices for secure transactions.
- Training through train-the-trainer programmes.
- Micro-insurance to reduce agricultural risks with satellite data.

This business model involves:
  1. Evaluation of multinational seeds under local conditions.
  2. Credit for aggregators, backed by seed companies.
  3. Blockchain registration of approved seeds.
  4. Sale of seeds on credit to farmers.
  5. Credit repayment after harvest.
  6. Improvement of local seeds with coating and drying.
  7. Use of weather-based agricultural insurance.

Seed companies gain access to new markets, yield data and improved reputation, while smallholder farmers can access higher quality seed and increase their income.

The 1% proceeds from the sale of improved seeds will be distributed in such a way that 95% will directly benefit the farmer.
6 foundations are created for:

1. Biotechnology funding (5%)
2. Vocational and entrepreneurial training for women (5%)
3. Blockchain and AI applications tailored to small, often illiterate, farmers (5%)
4. Operational capacity building 5%.
5. Creation and operation of a fund using 70% to give seeds on credit, to be paid back after harvest.
6. Governance of the DAO (Digital cooperative)
